January 4, 1971 — February 28, 2024

Mr. Howard David Hicks, age 53, of Mineral Bluff, Georgia passed away on February, 28, 2024, at the Hamilton Medical Center in Dalton, Georgia

Mr. Hicks was of the Christian faith and Baptist denomination. He enjoyed God's created nature, especially fishing. David had a quick wit and drew others to him with jokes and wonderful sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.

David was predeceased by his father, Howard Harvey Hicks; brothers, Michael Hicks and Scott Hicks; sisters, Tammy Dillard and Angela Rhodes; grandparents, William and Ettie Loftis.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Jane Gibbs; and many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, March 3, 2024 at 3pm from the Chastain Memorial Gardens in Blue Ridge, Georgia with Rev. Eric Davenport officiating and music provided by Lauren Searcy.

The family will be receiving friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home in Blue Ridge, Georgia for a time of visitation on Sunday, March 3, 2024 from 12 noon to 2:45pm prior to the graveside service.
