The Cochran Funeral Home & Crematory of Blairsville announces Funeral Services for Howard E. Everett, Sr., age 83 of Blairsville who passed away on Sunday, May 9, 2021 at his home.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory: his loving wife of 64 years, LoraLee Everett; son & daughter-in-law, Howard E. Everett, Jr. and his wife, Judy; daughters & sons-in-law, Sherri Rene' & Judd Dayton and Cathy & Stacey Stephens. Also sharing in his legacy are 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Mr. Everett was preceded in death by his parents, Erwin & Hattie Everett; and 5 siblings, Ervelene Hedden, Lloyd Everett, Roberta Drake, Herbert Everett, and Mac Arthur Everett.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 14, 2021 at Zebulon Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Morrison and Rev. Randy Hughes officiating. Special music will be presented by Jessica Kenemer, Rene' Crowley, Cathy Stephens, and Sherri Dayton. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The following gentlemen have been selected to serve as pallbearers: Ed Everett, Sam Everett, Shane Everett, Jeremy Stephens, Stacey Stephens, Mitchell Dayton, Jason Kenemer, Brandon Crowley, and Judd Dayton.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.
