Herbert Lee Hedden

Herbert Lee Hedden, age 61 of Blairsville, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2015 at North East Georgia Medical Center. Mr. Hedden was born March 2, 1954 in Blairsville, GA to Winfred and Florence Brown Hedden. Herbert was a lifelong resident of the Blairsville area. Some of his intrests were fishing, gardening, repairing small engines, listening to music and watching old westerns. Herbert was preceded in death by his father, a brother, Winfred Junior Hedden and two sisters, Christine Pickelsimer and Karen Winkler.

Survivors include: mother, Florence Lee Winkler of Blairsville, son, Danny Lee Hedden of Dawsonville, son, Rodney Hedden of Ganiesville, GA, sister and brother-in-law, Susie and Ron Winkler of Young Harris, sister, Martha Anderson, Brother and sister-in-law, Terry and Edna Hedden, sister and brother-in-law, Lucy and Ronnie Burnette, sister and brother-in-law, Joann and Ned Wilcoxon, brother and sister-in-law, William and Donna Winkler, all of Blairsville, sister, Katrina Henson of Atlanta, and granddaughter, Amberly Hedden of Dawsonville.

Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, September 21, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Cochran Funeral Home & Crematory of Blairsville with the Rev. Jonathan Hood officiating. Music will be provided by Ned Wilcoxon and Kelley Brewer. Interment will follow in the Coosa United Methodist Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are: Tom Winn, Richard Brown, Bennie Burnette, Shane Burnette, Keith Brewer, and Peyton Brewer.

The family will receive friends at the Cochran Funeral Home & Crematory of Blairsville, Sunday, September 20, 2015, 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
