Henrietta June Hogsed

Henrietta June Hogsed, age 79 of Murphy, passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at her home. Mrs. Hogsed was born Saturday, June 30, 1928 in Cherokee County to the late James Daniel Plemmons and the late Essie Janes Voyles Plemmons. She was a member of the Little Brasstown Baptist Church, enjoyed working in her flowers and fishing. She was preceded in death by husband, Lawrence Henry Hogsed and was last of ten children.

Survivors include: son & daughter-in-law, Daniel Wayne & Reta Hogsed of Murphy, daughter & son-in-law, Dianne & Bud Murphy of Blairsville, daughter & son-in-law, Robin & Ricky Davis of Murphy, granddaughter, Sarah Wilson, grandson, Caleb Hogsed, grandson, Jacob Hogsed, grandchildren, Daniel & Lydia Murphy, great grandchildren, Shelby & Shannon Wilson.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Saturday, February 23,from the Little Brasstown Baptist Church with the Rev. Aud Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from Friday, February 22, 6-9 PM.
