Mrs.Helen Ruth Daves, age 80, of McCaysville, GA passed away Saturday, May 15, 2010, at her home. Mrs. Daves was born July 29, 1929 in Fannin County, to Charles & Mertice Querry Jones, and she was a member of the First Baptist Church of Epworth. She loved cooking, sewing, quitling.
Survivors include: sons and daughters-in-law, Eddie & Norma Daves of Norcross,GA and Jerry & Rhonda Daves of McCaysville, GA; grandchildren, Shannon & Crystal Daves, Heather & Corey King, Geoffrey Daves, Kristin Jackson, and Jhoni Jackson; great grandchildren, Emily Daves, and Allison Daves..
Funeral services: Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at 12:00 noon with Dr. Tom Jordan officiating. Music will be provided by Rev. Doug Simonds, Jimmy & Inez Jones, and Jerrie Sue Massengale. Serving as pallbearers will be Bob Newman, Larry Collis, Brian Collis, Geoffrey Daves, Jordan Farmer, and Junior Payne. Burial will be at the First Baptist Church of Epworth Cemetery.
