Helen Collins Green

Helen Collins Green, age 84 of Marietta, formaly of Fannin County passed away Friday, October 3, 2008 at Kennestone Hospital . Helen was born Monday, April 14, 1924 in Fannin Co. Ga. to the late Millard Cofield Collins and the late Minnie Davis Collins. She was a member of Boulder Crest Baptist Baptist Church. A loving wife and moher she enjoyed working with her flowers, sewing and spending time with her grandchildren, She was preceded in death by her husband Worth"Dock" Green and her sister Hazel Cantrell.

Survivors include: daughter, Vicki G. Woodward of Marietta, daughter & son-in-law, Susan and Alan Ivie of Kennesaw, brother, Blake Collins of Morganton, brother, Blaine Collins of Morganton, sister, Haven Kiker of Blue Ridge, brother-in-law, Bob Cantrell of Blue Ridge, grandson, Richie Woodward, granddaughter & husband, Rebecca & Walter Godwin, granddaughter, Amber Ivie, granddaughter, Melisa Ivie,several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 5, 2008 at 2:00PM from the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Chastain Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers are: Dugger Kiker, Jr., Jeff Collins, Blaine Collins, Jr., Wayne King, Richie Woodward and Walter Godwin.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, October 4, from 7-9 PM.
