Hazel Ware

Hazel Frances Ware, age 85 of Ducktown formerly of Mineral Bluff, passed away December 31, 2017 at the Life Care Center of Copper Basin. Ms. Ware was born February 10, 1932 in Mineral Bluff , GA to the late Rev. William Ralph Henson and the late Anna Mae Dye Henson. A member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruby Henson Poe and Eunice Henson Roberson. In her spare time, Hazel enjoyed playing Bingo and Listening to the gospel singers at the Life Care Center.

Survivors include: son, James Henson, daughter, Joyce Ware Johnson, brother, Cecil Henson, brother, Jack (Pat) Henson, sister, Edith Hyde, sister, Betty Hawkins two grandchildren, Sammy and Debbie, several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Padgett officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home, Wednesday, January 3, 2018, from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
