Hazel Rhinehardt

Hazel Eller Rhinehardt, 89, of Daniel Island (Charleston), SC, formerly of Hiawassee, GA and Hayesville, NC, passed away Monday, Dec. 28, 2009 at Clarendon Memorial Hospital in Manning, SC.
Hazel was born in Clay County, NC, Feb. 8, 1920 to the late Barnett Sylvester Eller and Ollie Nicholson Eller. She was a member of McConnell Memorial Baptist Church, and a past member of the VFW Auxiliary. She had been a local area business owner. Hazel was preceded in death by her husband Frederick F. Rhinehardt.
Survivors include: daughter, Gale Rhinehardt Stanley of Charleston, SC; one granddaughter, Sandra Stanley Marshall and husband David of St. Matthews, SC; one great grandson David Stanley Marshall of Mt. Pleasant, SC and one great granddaughter Kristin Lynne Marshall of St. Matthews, SC.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, December 31, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. from the First United Methodist Church of Hayesville Cemetery. with Rev. Jimmy McAdams officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hayesville First United Methodist Church Cemetery fund, 989 Hwy 64 West, Hayesville, NC 28904.
