Harold Winston Stanley

Mr. Harold Winston Stanley, age 72 of Murphy, passed away November 3, 2013 at Med West Homestead, Clyde, NC. Mr. Stanley was born January 10, 1941 in Fannin Co., GA to Henry M. Stanley and Inez Sutton Stanley. A member of Christian Love Ministry, he was preceded in death by his parents Henry & Inez Stanley, 3 brothers Warren G., Hugh N., & Larry Stanley, 3 sisters Ruth Middleton, Mildred Cornett, & Bonnie Mae Stanley.

Survivors include: daughter, Sherrie Stanley, daughter, Rhonda Owens, sister-in-law, Virginia Stanley, sister, Bernice Young, sister, Ella Jane Stanley, grandson, Billy Wayne Owens Jr., granddaughter, Katrina Lynnetta Owens, great-grandchild, Timothy Owens, great grandchild, Marietta Lynn Ordonez and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services: Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at the Cochran Funeral Home, Murphy, NC with the Rev. Denny Smith officiating. Music provided by: Christian Love Ministry. Interment will follow in the Stanley Church of Christ Cemetery Blue Ridge Ga.. Pallbearers include, Rick Smith, Roy Lawhon, Gary Holloway, Chuck Mallonee, Mick McCloskey, and Robbie Wilson.

The family will receive friends at the Cochran Funeral Home of Murphy Monday, November 4, 2013 from 6:00PM - 9:00PM.
