Harold Patterson

Harold Patterson, age 84, of Blue Ridge, passed away Sunday, January 27, 2019, at his home. Harold was born August 24, 1934, in Mobile, GA, to the late Thomas Patterson and the late Stella Leatherwood Patterson. He was of the Baptist Faith and retired from Tennessee Chemical Company as a train engineer. Mr. Patterson was a US Navy Veteran serving during the Korean War on the aircraft carrier USS Boxer CVA 21. He enjoyed reading and watching westerns. He was preceded in death by his spouse, Dorothea Elaine Williams Patterson, father, Thomas Patterson, mother, Stella Leatherwood Patterson, and brother, Ed Patterson.

Survivors include his son, Gary (Robin) Patterson, daughter, Elaine Patterson, son, Randy Patterson, grandchildren, Holly Patterson, Desiree Patterson, Kelsey Patterson, Caleb Patterson, and Cainan Patterson.

Funeral services: Thursday, January 31, 2019, at 2:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Williams officiating. Music provided by Brenda Millsaps. Interment will follow in Mount Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery with military honors by the North Georgia Honor Guard. Pallbearers: Chris Williams, Ron Williams, Jeff Davenport, Danny Patterson, William Patterson, and Danny Bundy. Honorary pallbearers: Caleb Patterson, Cainan Patterson, Tommy Grindstaff, Charles "Pud" Payne, Larry Joe Sosbee, Joel Williams, and Jeff Roper.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Wednesday, January 30, 2019, from 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
