Hansel Lakeston Elrod

Mr. Hansel Lakeston Elrod, age 89, of Bangor, Pennsylvania, passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, in Bangor, PA. Hansel was born October 19, 1934, in Mineral Bluff, GA to Olen and Ethel Elrod. 

Hansel was preceded in death by his father, Olen Elrod; mother, Ethel Elrod; spouse, Debora Elrod; son, Lance Olen Elrod; brothers, Eugene Elrod and Wade Elrod; and sister, Bonnie Ruth Garrett 

He is survived by his daughter, Denise (Tom) Millheim; son, Jack (Connie) Elrod; daughter, Wanda (Robert) Wilkes; brother, Reed (Ramona) Elrod; grandchildren, Nathaniel Millheim, Matthew Millheim, Kevin Elrod, Stacie Elrod, and Bobby Wilkes. 

Funeral Service is Saturday January 13, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Finch-Cochran Funeral Home with Minister Terry Stuart officiating.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, David Stuart, Ronald Cearley, Zack Johnson, Hoyt Johnson, Randy Belcher, and Micah Johnson. 

Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Copperhill, TN. 

The family will receive friends at Finch-Cochran Funeral Home on Friday, 12th of January, 2024, from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM.
