Mr. Hans Christopher Olson, age 42 of Murphy, passed away July 3, 2014 at his home. Hans was born September 5, 1971 in Santa Barbara County, CA to James and Bonnie Levis Olson.
He was a Navy Veteran, 1991 - 1995, serving as a Navy Corpsman with the 3rd Batt. 6th Marines in Mogadishu, Somalia 1994.
He was Lutheran in faith and he enjoyed watching sports in his spare time.
Survivors include: parents, James and Bonnie Olson, daughter, Shae Helen Olson, son, Logan James Olson, of Gilbert, AZ, sister, Heather Olson Slahetka, and nieces, Bailey and Sadie Slahetka, of New Port Richey, Florida
A military funeral service will be held at a later date at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, in Phoenix, AZ. In lieu of flowers please make donations to your local Veteran's group.
