Gwendolyn Iretha Tipton

Mrs. Gwendolyn Iretha Tipton, age 80, of Morganton, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2019, at North East Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville. Mrs. Tipton was born August 8, 1938, to the late John Thomas Fuller and the late Rosie Christine McClanahan Smith Fuller. She was a member of New Testament Baptist Church in Blue Ridge. Gwen enjoyed being a homemaker, canning, and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Frank Tipton, son, Keith W. (Vivian) Tipton of Burke, South Dakota, sister, Janet Murr of Brevard, NC, brothers, Steve Fuller and Elmer Fuller, both of Bryson, NC, grandchildren, Scott (Sarah) Tipton, Sarah Tipton (Bart) Svoboda, and Jesse R. (Corey) Lambert, great-grandchildren, Jesselyn Tipton Lambert, William Tipton, and Jacob Tipton.

Funeral services: Monday, April 29, 2019, at 2:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Blue Ridge with Rev. Sammy Ledford officiating. Music provided by Flora Bell Mashburn. Interment will follow in the Concord Cemetery. Pallbearers: Bruce Fuller, Gary Fuller, Jeffery Fuller, Daryle Fuller, J.R. Murr, and Travis Murr.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge Sunday, April 28, 2019, from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM.
