Glen Leland Pickelsimer, age 75 of Copperhill, TN passed away July 23, 2011 at the Copper Basin Medical Center. Mr. Pickelsimer was born March 17, 1936 in Fannin Co, GA to the late H.A. Pickelsimer and Lois Cruise Pickelsimer.
Survivors include one daughter, Deborah Morrow of Copperhill, TN, one brother, Bob Pickelsimer of Dalonega, one sister, Violet Harper of Dawsonville, one granddaughter, Amy Morrow and four great-grandchildren, Brittany, Jordon & Logan Tallent and Jeremy Walker.
Funeral services will take place Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at 2:00 pm at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Tim Godfrey and G.W. Mathis officiating. Interment will follow in the Crestlawn Cemetery. Pallbearers include Carlos Wilson, Ron Wray, Kevin Wray, Charles Patterson, Denny Grogan and Larry Cochran. Honorary pallbearers are Jordan and Logan Tallent and the staff at the Copper Basin Medical Center.
The family will receive friends at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home of McCaysville, Monday and Tuesday evening from 6-9 pm.
