Gladys Register Thompson

Gladys Register Thompson age 105, passed away peacefully at home, on Wednesday, July 10th, with her only daughter, Eve Miranda, by her side. Gladys was a devout Christian and spent much of her life as a Bible teacher. She enjoyed a large array of friends and her home and heart was always open to them. Mrs. Thompson lived her entire life without ever being on prescription drugs. Her husband, Roy Thompson, passed away in 1993.

She is survived by her daughter, Eve and two Grandsons, Dan and wife Tracey, and Ken and wife Nancy. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to cover final expenses. Instead of a traditional service, a Gospel Sing to celebrate her life will be held on Sunday, July 21st at the Potters House Restaurant in Andrews, N.C. with Sonny Reighard as MC. beginning at one 1:00 PM.
