Gladys Morehouse

Mrs. Gladys Evelyn Morehouse, age 90, of Blairsville, Georgia, passed away Monday, August 4, 2008 at Union County Nursing Home in Blairsville.
Mrs. Morehouse was born Tuesday, September 25, 1917 in Logan County, Ohio, to the late John Mahlen Wirick and the late Minnie Carlisle Wirick. She had lived in Ohio until moving to Miami in 1948 then moving to Blairsville in 2000. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Union County and The Order of the Eastern Star. She had worked for Aeronautical Communications Corporation of Miami for 30 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ermil Gordon Morehouse, two brothers and a sister.
Survivoring family members include: daughter & son-in-law, Arline and Gene Hodgson of Blairsville; grandson, Glenn E. Hodgson; granddaughters: Jeanette Espinosa and Nancy Hadd; and six great grandchildren.
