Cochran Funeral Home and Crematory of Blairsville announces the death of Mrs. Gerry Kamber, age 80, of Blairsville, who passed away Monday, August 19, 2013, at her home.
Gerry was born on April 13, 1933, in Evanston, Illinois, a daughter of the late Nicholas Baumhart and the late Edna Sangbush Baumhart. She moved to Blairsville in 2004 from West Palm Beach, Florida, and was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Blairsville.
Gerry leaves behind her family members who dearly loved her: her husband, Ernie, of Blairsville; daughter, Cynthia Ann Mangan, of Pembroke Pines, Florida; sons, Ernest William Kamber, Jr., and Erik Samuel Kamber, both of Blairsville; and daughter, Claudia Deitz, of Blairsville; a sister: Dolores Spetyla, of Chicago, Illinois; her beloved grandchildren: Patrick Ernest Mangan, Philip Anthony Mangan, Matthew Mangan, Breana Kamber, Joshua Kamber, Caleb Kamber, Jessica Deitz, Johannah Deitz, Hayleigh Deitz, and Samantha Kamber; and beloved great grandchildren: Paige Mangan and Ellie Margaret Mangan.
Memorial services will be held at noon on August 30, 2013 at First Baptist Church of Blairsville.
