Geraldine S Lambert, 84, of Murphy passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2015, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Gerry was born Jan. 28, 1931 in Clifton Heights, Pennsylvania to late William Conway and Clementine Forstner Conway. She was one of twelve children with one surviving sister, Lillian Conway Pezzotti of Media, PA.
She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Gerry was a native of Pennsylvania. She and her husband, Jim, moved from Pennsylvania to North Carolina in 1966 to start up the manufacturing department known as Clifton Precision. Gerry was happiest when surrounded by the children of their family. As a devoted homemaker, she loved the holiday seasons making them special for all family and guests who visited their home. Gerry was a voracious reader. She loved antiquing and frequenting yard sales and thrift stores.
Survivors include her loving husband, James Clark Lambert; two children, Jim Lambert, Jr. and wife, Pat of Murphy and Leslie Lambert Wade and husband, Larry of Gainesville, GA, five grandchildren, Michelle Lambert Beaver, Christy Lambert, Sarah Lambert, Elizabeth Ledford Pfister, and Joey Ledford, eight great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
The family will receive friends, Sunday, April 26th from 3:00 until 5:00p.m. at Cochran Funeral Home in Peachtree with a memorial service immediately following the visitation. Rev. Chester Jones will officiate the memorial service.
