Mrs. Geraldine Owenby, age 76 of Marietta, GA passed away August 23, 2015 at Dallas, GA. Mrs. Owenby was born September 27, 1938 in Mineral Bluff, GA to the late Roy Clifton Davis and the late Callie Lucille Amons Davis. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Doris Davis Thrasher..

Survivors include: son, Chuck (Sherri Ann) Owenby, daughter, Cindy (Paul) Duran, sisters, Betty Sue Mathis and Cheryl Ballew, brothers, Billy, Bobby and Ricky Davis, grandchildren, Josh Owenby, Jessica Olinger and Cassie Robinson, great-grandchildren, J.J. Turner, Dakota Owenby, Jasmine Turner, Norah Robinson and Ethan Owenby.

Funeral services: will be held on Wednesday, August 26 at 2:00 pm at the Toccoa Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe Dan Wilkins and Rev. Terry Thrasher officiating. Music provided by: Clara Henry and Jimmy Ritter. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers: Dale Blair, Cliff Blair, Jeff Mathis, Jim Bob Davis, J.J. Turner, Terry Roper and Josh Owenby. Honorary pallbearers: Gary Wehunt, Paul Wehunt, Tommy Hooper, Henry Hooper, Roger Adams, Donnie Stephens, Grady Ray, Jimmie Davis and Paul H. Davis.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, GA on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 from 6:00 - 9:00 pm .
