Geraldine Elizabeth Robertson

Mrs. Geraldine Elizabeth Palmer Robertson, age 71 of Murphy, passed away Sunday evening, May 29, 2016 at her home. Mrs. Robertson was born June 1, 1944 in Swain County, NC. to the late Theodore Jack Palmer and the late Mary Magdalene Cornwell Palmer. Mrs. Robertson was a member of Nottely Baptist Church. Mrs. Robertson enjoyed her work as a child support agent for Cherokee County; and was a former employee of Emerson. She loved reading, crocheting, playing video games and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren..

Survivors include: son, Jeff (Gail) Robertson, daughters, Sherri (Steve) Sneed, Merry (Wendell) Tanner and Melissa (Jarrid) Anderson, sister, Janie Hughes, six grandchildren, six great grandchildren.

Funeral services: Wednesday, June 1, at 2:00PM from Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lee Tanner officiating. Interment will follow in Bell View Community Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Cochran Funeral Home of Murphy Tuesday evening 6 till 9 PM, .
