Georgette Shibley Saliba

Georgette Shibley Saliba, age 91 of Copperhill, TN passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2023. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Maria and Toufic Shibley; brothers: George, Alexander, Victor, John, and Shibley, and nephew, George Wayne Shibley. Georgette is survived by numerous relatives in both the United States and in Lebanon.

Georgette was born in Zahleh, Lebanon on December 5, 1931. She emigrated to the United States from Lebanon in 1948 and had resided in Copperhill since that time. She soon became an American citizen and later owned and managed an appliance repair business in Copperhill during her working years.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Finch-Cochran Funeral Home in McCaysville, Georgia. There will be a gathering of friends and loved ones at the funeral home from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, November 29, 2023.

Funeral Service, Thursday, November 30, 2023, at St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church in Copperhill, TN at 10:00 am.

Interment in Crestlawn Cemetery, Copperhill, TN.
