George Bruce Holka

March 22, 1930 — October 20, 2010

Mr. Bruce Holka age 80, of Young Harris, GA passed away Wednesday, October 20th, 2010 at Chatuge Regional Hospital in Hiawassee He was born March 22nd, 1930 in Niagra Falls, NY to the late George and Elizabeth Book Holka. Mr. Holka was preceded in deathy by his sister, Doreen Wile. He is survived by his wife, Carol, step-sons, Kenneth Rushton of Hiawassee and Brett Rushton of Gilbert AZ and grandchildren, Andrew Rushton, Caitlin Rushton, Derek Douglas and Desiree Douglas.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 23, 2010 at 3:00 PM from the Chapel of the Cochran Funeral Home of Hiawassee. The family will recieve friends at the funeral home Saturday from 1 until 3 PM. Memorial donations in Mr. Holka's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Humane Society's Mountain Shelter, 1390 Highway 76 E, Hiawassee, GA 30546.
