George Albert McGee

George Albert McGee, age 83 of Copperhill, passed away Friday, January 12, 2018, in Atlanta. Mr. McGee was born September 5, 1934, in Isabella, TN to the late Charles Samuel McGee and the late Bessie Lucille Mull McGee. He was a US Army Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict, a member of First United Methodist Church of Copperhill, former administrator of Copper Basin Medical Center, and a hospital administrator with the TN Department of Corrections. Mr. McGee was an avid golfer and member of the Copper Basin Golf Club. He was preceded in death by parents, Charles Samuel and Bessie Lucille Mull McGee, wife, Janelle Kimsey McGee, brothers, Charles McGee, Lynn McGee, and Carl McGee, sister-in-law, Jo Ann Kimsey Davis.

Survivors include a sister-in-law, Yvonne McGee Andrews, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Don and Sue Kimsey, sister-in-law, Peggy McGee, nieces, and nephews.

Memorial services Friday, January 19, 2018, 2:00 pm at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Reid officiating.
