Gene Wilson

Gene Carl Wilson, age 90 of Mineral Bluff, passed away September 28, 2011. Wilson was born June 17, 1921 in Fannin Co., GA to the late Reed D. Wilson and the late Sadie Mae Lowery. A member of Tocoa Baptist Church, he loved trading cars and spending time with his friends and was the owner of Lakewood Salvage, he was preceded in death by father, Reed D. Wilson, mother, Sadie Mae Wilson, wife, Lois Wilson, twin brother, Bob Wilson, brother, Jimmy Wilson.

Survivors include: son, Carols Wilson, daughter, Sharon (Joe) Bearden, daughter, Teresa Lampton, sister, Mary McDonald, grandson, Shane (Lynn) Wilson, grandson, Michael Deal, grandson, Tyler Deal, grandson, William Davis, granddaughter, Christy Kirkland, great granddaughter, Anica Wilson, Ralph Gardner, Keith Thomas, James Wilson, Ronnie Ray, Doug Douglas.

Funeral services: Thursday, September 29, 2011 at 8:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home. Honorary pallbearers: Ralph Gardner, Keith Thomas, James Wilson, Ronnie Ray, Doug Douglas.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Thursday, September 29, 2011 from 5:00 pm until service at 8:00 pm.
