Gary Randall "Randy" Swafford

Mr. Gary Randall "Randy" Swafford, Sr. age 68 of Copperhill, TN, passed away September 25, 2013 at Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, GA. Mr. Swafford was born January 8, 1945 in Ducktown, TN to the late Richard Swafford and the late Euna Mae Davis Swafford. Randy was employed at City Service Chemical Plant in Copperhill. Later he became a Polk County Sheriffs Deputy after attending a 12 week National Police Training in Nashville, TN. He was a member of the Mine City Baptist Church in Ducktown, TN.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Richard Grayson and Steve Douglas Swafford.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Swafford, son, Gary Swafford, Jr. of Cherokee Hills; daughter & son-in-law, Kimberley & Kenneth Wishon of Marietta, GA; and son, Scott Swafford of Blue Ridge; He is also survived by one grandson, Parker Grant Wishon of Marietta, GA.

Memorial service is Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the Mine City Baptist Church in Ducktown, TN with Rev. Terry Callihan officiating.
