Freda Marie Taylor, age 76 of Murphy, NC, passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at Murphy Medical Center. The funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 27, 2010 at Cochran Funeral Home with Reverend Ronnie Green officiating.
Music will be provided by Debbie Green and Teresa Bateman. Burial will take place at Old Martin's Creek Cemetery after the service. She was born in Summersville, West Virginia. She was of the Baptist faith.
She loved singing, enjoyed flowers and she loved her family very much.
Survivors include: two sons, Richard Hall of Marietta, OH and Steve Russell of Mineral Bluff; four daughters, Shirley Riley of Marietta, OH, Lori Roberts of Murphy, Ruby Sayre of Marietta, OH, and Joanne Raney of Smyrna, Ga;
one brother Gene Griffin of Cleveland, OH also 9 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Cody Roberts, Jason Hall, Buddy Riley, Clinton Roberts, Richard Hall, and Robert Russell.
The family will recieve friends from 6-9 Thursday night, August 26, 2010 at the funeral home. You may send condolences to the family and sign the guest register at www.cochranfuneralhomes.com.
