Fred Mull

Mr. Fred Mull, age 86, of Mc Caysville, GA, passed away Monday, March 23, 2009 at Copper Basin Medical Center. Fred was born Monday, April 24, 1922 in Fannin County, GA to the late W.T. "Boss" Mull and the late Ethel Roberson Mull. He was a member of Union Baptist Church, retired from Citi Service Company after being employed from 1943 until 1984. He was a former McCaysville Fire Chief of McCaysville, and a City Councilman. Fred was a U.S. Army WWII Veteran.

He was preceded in death by brothers, Wt, Wayne, Dan, Joe, Edgar, and Ralph Mull, and sisters, Ruby Clore and Catherine Mull.

Survivors include: wife, Helen Ruth Mull of McCaysville, GA; son, Thomas Vincent Mull of Marietta, GA; son, David Lanier Mull of Atlanta, GA; brother, Dennis Mull, sisters, Aleen Mull of Blue Ridge, GA, and Elaine Gallor of Blue Ridge, GA.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 26, 2009 at 11:00 AM from the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Delmar Davenport and Rev. Kenneth Montgomery officiating. Music will be provided by Carolyn Mull and daughters, Kim and Kelly. Interment will follow in Copper Ridge Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-9 pm, Wednesday, March 25.
