Fred Clurben

Mr. Fred Clurben Arp, age 90, of McCaysville, GA, passed away Monday, May 23, 2011 at Life Care Center of Copper Basin. Mr. Arp was born May 23, 1921 in Polk Co. TN. to the late Frank P. Arp and late Mamie Sparks Arp. He was a member of McCaysville Church of Christ. Fred was employed at the City Service Company for many years and was very active at the Ducktown Senior Center.

Survivors include: daughter and son in law, Barbara & Kenneth Robinson, daughter and son in law, Barbara & Lamar George, grandson, David George, Brother, J. D. & Kathleen Arp, Brother, Robert B & Peggy Arp, sister, Katherine Armonstrong, and sister, Colleen & Eugene Wright.

Funeral services: Thursday, May 26, 2011 at 2:00 pm Finch Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Minister Keith Richie, and Minister Bill Johnston officiating. Music provided by: Barbara Robinson, McCaysville Church Of Christ Choir with congregation singing. Interment will follow in Copper Ridge Memorial Gardens.

Visitation with family and friends will be Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
