Frazier Lee Coffie

September 13, 1938 — May 4, 2017

Frazier Lee Coffie, age 78 of Blue Ridge and formerly of Atlanta, passed away Thursday, May 4, 2017 at his home. Mr. Coffie was born September 13, 1938 in Chicago, IL to the late Guy Coffie and the late Mae Frazier Coffie. He was a member and former elder of Cherry Log Christian Church, where he enjoyed singing in the choir, teaching Sunday school, and leading prayers for communion. He also enjoyed clearing land, chopping wood, and other service projects with the men of the church. He was a University of Iowa alumnus and football fan, and had a Master's Degree in Math from Drake University.

Survivors include loving wife, Lucie Callaway Coffie, son, Dan G. Coffie, son, Chris (Cathy) Coffie, daughter, Lisa (Nelson Fredsell) Majoros, brother, Rich (Barb) Coffie, brother, David (Bev) Coffie, grandchildren, Benjamin Coffie, Carter Coffie, Rosie Coffie, Meredith Coffie, Ian Coffie, Lael Fredsell, Anya Fredsell, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, May 13 at 11:00am at Cherry Log Christian Church in Cherry Log, Georgia with Rev. Paul Pryor, Rev. Billy Harrison, and Rev. Lisa Majoros officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Cherry Log Christian Church at clccdoc.org/giving or by mail at PO BOX 289, Cherry Log, Ga, 30522.
