Franklin Delano Sutton, age 82 of Benton, Tennessee passed away Thursday, January 21, 2016 in Cleveland, Tennessee. Mr. Sutton was born June 26, 1933 in McCaysville, GA to the late Clarence Sutton and the late Beulah Glazner Sutton. Mr. Sutton was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Clearview Baptist Church in Round Lake Beach, IL. Mr. Sutton was a hard working man who also enjoyed gardening, fishing, woodworking, and the Chicago Cubs. He was preceded in death by his son David Franklin Sutton, his sisters, Viola Sutton Cheeseman, Virginia "Bid" Sutton Lackey and Loretta Sutton, and his brothers C.G. Sutton, Gene Sutton, Warren Sutton, Kenneth Sutton, and Lynn Sutton.

Survivors include: daughter Deborah Couture, son James (Patti) Sutton, daughter Michele (Mike) Callihan, grandchildren Paul (Adrionna) Couture, Jessie Amber Sutton, Stephanie (Alvin) Wilcox, Holly (Brian) Robinson, Hunter, Brittany, and Adam Guy, Peyton Daniels, great grandchildren, Carter, Landon, Weston Guy, Elijah and Brooke Robinson, brother, Johnny Sutton, and sister, Jo Sutton Chambers.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 5:00 pm at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home in McCaysville, GA. A private military honors service will be provided by the North Georgia Honor Guard.
