Mr. Francis Homer "Junior" Hunter, age 85, of Morganton, GA, passed away Monday, September 17, 2007 at Union General Hospital. Junior was born Sunday, March 5, 1922 in Fannin County GA to the late Francis Homer Hunter, Sr. and the late Maybel Panter Hunter.
Survivors include: daughter, Maybelle Ward of Morganton, GA; adopted son, Roger Cochran of Morganton, GA; son & daughter-in-law, Homer & Kathy Hunter of Morganton, GA; granddaughter & husband, Heather & Bryan Jewell; grandson & wife, Trent & Robbin Hunter; great-grandson, Braden Jewell; great-granddaughter, Keylee Hunter and great-granddaughter, Kendyl Thomas.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 20, 2007 at 2:00PM from the New Hope Baptist Church with the Reverend Loys Waters, , officiating. Music will be provided by Gerald & Deloris Heaton. Interment will follow in New Hope Baptist Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers include: Grandchildren & Great Grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-9, Wednesday, September 19.
