Frances Vera Kollinay Gluck, age 89, of Cumming, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 in Cumming, Georgia.
Mrs. Gluck was born in Flushing, New York, on June 19, 1924, the daughter of the late George and the late Vera Toth Kollinay. She and her husband, Howard, lived in the Owltown Community of Blairsville for 37 years. Besides her parents, Mrs. Gluck had been preceded in death by her husband, Howard, who died on January 12, 2011.
Frances is survived by her sister, Joan Wallace, of Cumming, Georgia; nieces, Tricia Wallace, of Cumming; Kim Stidham, of San Jose, California; and Joyce Wallace of Deland, Florida; great nieces: Katie Diaz Thornton, of Cumming; Stephanie and Samantha Stidham, of San Jose; Brandy Wallace and Crystie Sowers of Deland; great nephews: Eliot Thornton, of Cumming; Andrew Diaz, of Blue Ridge, Georgia; and Matthew Wallace, of Deland; and several great great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Gluck were held on Friday, November 29, 2013, at 10:30 a.m., in the Chapel of Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville. Mr. W.H. Hood shared special remembrances for Mrs. Gluck, and Rev. Doug Smith officiated at the services. The following gentlemen were selected to serve as pallbearers: Eliot Thornton, Andrew Diaz, William Frazer, Wayne Hedden, W. H. Hood and Bo Conley. Mrs. Gluck was laid to rest in Union Memory Gardens Cemetery, next to her husband and mother.
