Frances "Hellen" Steed (Adams)

Mrs. Frances Hellen Steed, age 90, of Blue Ridge, passed away February 7, 2012 at the Fannin Regional Hospital. Mrs. Steed was born March 28, 1921 in Athens , GA to the late Albert Andrew Adams and the late Mattie Belle Chandler Adams. She was a member of Epworth First Baptist Church.. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Alexander Edmond Steed, Sr. Hellen owned and operated a catering service, before her retirement.

Survivors include: daughter, Phyllis Ann (Mike) Taylor, son, Alex (Linda) Steed Jr., son, Weyman (Sue) Steed, and son, Tim (Peggy) Steed.

A memorial service will be held February15, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Epworth with Rev. Chan Mitchell officiating and music provided by Rev. Doug Simonds..
