Frances L. Helton Roper

Mrs. Frances Lucille Roper, age 73 of Blue Ridge, passed away September 10, 2015 at the Union General Hospital. Mrs. Roper was born October 23, 1941 in Culberson, NC to the late Herman Helton and the late Dora Bell Helton. A member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Blue Ridge, she was preceded in death by twin daughters Martha Sue & Mary Lou Roper, her parents and step-mother, Leavie Ann Helton.

Survivors include several nieces, Sherry Hamby, Sharon Helton, Greta Shinpaugh, and Belinda Ware, great niece, Christy Shinpaugh, great nephew, Jacob Ware, and great niece, Britney Ware.

Funeral services will be held Monday, September 14, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Pastor Robert Fancher and Pastor Valentin Rusu officiating. Interment will follow in the Toccoa Baptist Church Cemetery. The gentleman serving as Pallbearers will be Terry Ware, Jackie Ware and Johnny Hamby.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home on Sunday, September 13, 2015, from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
