Frances Ann Kline

Frances Ann Kline (Stock), 94, peacefully passed away on 1 July 2023, at home in the presence of her family in Morganton, GA. 
She is preceded in death by her father, Karol "Waka" Stock (Stoch) and mother Katherine Skubis Stock, siblings: Mary Borcheller, Lorry Robinson, Charles "Chuck" Stock, and twin Florence "Trudy" Stevens; grandson: Garett R. Kline.
She leaves behind her children: Albert "Letch" Kline, MD (Sandra), Monique Ann Barton (Faron); grandchildren: Crystal V. Kline-Vitek (Gabrahm), Heather A. Kline, Carson K. Corn, and Robbie E. Corn, Jr, Hannah M. Barton; great grandchildren: Dahlia and Modley Vitek; and many close nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was born in Chicago, Il, on November 11, 1928, from Polish immigrant parents in a loving family. Her father was a beloved Polish Highlander musician, and he and her mother owned and managed a tavern near the stockyards from the 20's-40's. She attended Gage High School, and followed in her older sister's footsteps and became an RN training at Loyola of Chicago, and Cook County Hospital. She was extremely proud of her nursing career, which spanned over 40 years, working in Chicago, San Antonio, New Jersey, Kentucky, Ohio, and ultimately the inpatient psychiatry unit at the Atlanta VA where she retired. She was very proud that she helped open the VA drug rehabilitation clinic in downtown Atlanta. She was the consummate professional, and was well respected by her nursing colleagues and patients.
Her biggest pride, however, was her success in raising her children and grand-children. She prayed daily for her relatives, and served as a source of example and wisdom for them. She maintained her strong convictions, attention to detail in her daily routines, which were based on a strong moral compass.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew her, but we all knew she was ready to join her preceded family and friends.
