Flossie Odom Beaver

Mrs. Flossie Odom Beaver, age 85 of Morganton, passed away August 20, 2013 at home. Mrs. Beaver was born September 7, 1927 in Murphy, NC to the late John Odom and the late Martha Walker . A member of Zion Hill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by Spouse, Elbert W. Beaver. She enjoyed deer hunting, fishing and quilting.

Survivors include: son, Kenneth (Liz) Beaver, son, Jerry (Betty) Beaver, daughter, Evelyn Hyde, daughter, Jessie Mae (Johnny) Jones, daughter, Judy (John) Freeman, daughter, Julia (Jerry) Beavers, daughter, Jo Ann (Tim) McCord.

Funeral services: Thursday, August 22, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Ricky Beaver and Rev. Ray Harper officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers: Jimmy Jones, Billy Jones, Koty Queen, Scottie Queen, Wesley Beaver and Tulsa Queen .

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge Wednesday, August 21, 2013 from 6:00 - 9:00 pm.
