Flora Ann Grice Tipton

Flora Ann Grice Tipton, age 92, of Morganton, GA, passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, surrounded by family in Morganton, GA. Flora was born December 19, 1931, in Morganton, GA to the Rev. Milan Grice and Maude Butt Grice. 

Flora was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Tipton; father, Rev. Milan Grice; mother, Maude Butt Grice; daughter, Joan Elizabeth Tipton Nicholson; and brothers, Paul Grice, Frank Grice, and Roger Grice.

She is survived by her sons, Danny (Sherry) Tipton, Ronnie (Lisa) Tipton, and Keith Tipton; sister, Polly Nealy; brother, Ralph Grice; grandchildren, Cherie (Matt) Williams, Doug Tipton, Kevin Nicholson, Renee (DJ) Carder, Alicia (Derrick) Stewart, Christy (Ronald) Stiles, Jamie (Abby) Tipton, Jessica Tipton, and Chase Tipton; and nineteen great-grandchildren. 

Special gratitude to Pruitt Hospice and April Baugh for her devoted and loving care.

Funeral Service will be on Friday June 28, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Concord Baptist Church with Rev. Eric Davenport officiating. 

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Kevin Nicholson, Dennis Nicholson, Derrick Stewart, David Grice, Joey Grice, and Steve Nealy. 

Interment will follow at Concord Baptist Church Cemetery in Morganton, GA. 

The family will receive friends at Cochran|McDaniel Funeral Home & Crematory, Blue Ridge Chapel on Thursday, 27th of June, 2024 from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM.
