Flora Mae Dockery

Cochran Funeral Home Of Hiawassee announces services for Ms. Flora Mae Dockery, age 74 of Hiawassee, GA, who passed away on Friday morning, February 9, 2018 at the Chatuge Regional Nursing Home in Hiawassee, GA. Ms. Dockery was born on July 25, 1943 in Towns County to the late Ervin & Elizabeth Potter Arrowood. She loved the water and enjoyed spending time near lakes, streams and rivers. Ms. Dockery also loved any kind of blooming or flowering plant. Flora Mae goes on to meet her late husband James Ballard, and will be remembered by all who knew her. She will especially be missed by her children; Shirlee Ballard, James Lee Ballard, Sandra Lee Mai and Shelby Ballard, sister; Lorraine Littleton, grandchildren; Chris Ballard, Ryan Ballard, Corina Ballard, Joseph Maney, Tom Mai, Crystal Eller, Dennis Wheeler, Marlena Garrett, Michael Huyen, Jesica Su and McKenzie Huyen. Also sharing in her legacy are thirteen great-grandchildren as well as many other extended friends and family. A memorial service is scheduled for Ms. Dockery on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at 12:00 pm from the chapel of Cochran Funeral Home of Hiawassee with Rev. Glenn Eller officiating.
