Evelyn Grindstaff Martin

Evelyn Martin, age 92 of Epworth, GA, passed away Thursday, July 15, 2010, at Copperbasin Life Care Center. She was born Dec. 9, 1917, in Fannin County, Georgia to the late Avery and Carrie Stanley Grindstaff.
She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed cooking, her flowers, and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by her husband Joe B. Martin, a grandson, Bobby Lynn Martin and great granddaughter, Brea Faith Martin.
Survivors include: son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Pat Martin of Epworth, brothers, Tommy Grindstaff of McCaysville and Jimmy Grindstaff of Blue Ridge, two grandchildren, Cindy Ware and Jeff Martin, two great grandchildren, Gina Lynn Ware and Christopher Lynn Martin, great grandchildren, Joslin Martin, Caden Finn Martin and Bailey Queen..
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 4:00 PM from the Finch Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Ernest German officiating. Music will be provided by Vicki Bice. Interment will follow in the Crestlawn Cemetery . Pallbearers: David Grindstaff, Robert Graham, Mike Grindstaff, Larry Goss, Ikey Grindstaff and Chuck Foster.
