Evelyn B. Sudderth

Evelyn Bass Sudderth, age 93 of Murphy, passed away Sunday, November 18, 2007 at Murphy Medical Center Nursing Home. Evelyn was born Thursday, December 25, 1913 in Cowan, TN to the late Fred Bass and the late Florence Kirby Bass. A member of Peachtree Memorial Baptist Church, Baptist WMU and NC Home Demonstration Club.

Survivors include: son & daughter-in-law, Richard & Joan Sudderth of Cleveland, TN, son, Rex Sudderth of Murphy, NC, grandson & granddaughter-in-law, Richard E. & Donna Sudderth of Nashville, TN, granddaughter & grandson-in-law, Pamela & Richard McAlister of Charleston, TN, granddaughter & grandson-in-law, Paula & Blake Stewart of Cleveland, TN, great-granddaughter, Rachel McAlister of Charleston, TN, great-granddaughter, Alyssa McAlister of Charleston, TN, great-grandson, Andrew McAlister of Charleston, TN, great-granddaughter, Grace McAlister of Charleston, TN, several nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at 2:00PM from the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel with the Dr. Chester Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Peachtree Memorial Baptist Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-9, Tuesday, November 20.
