Eulan Brooks

Harrison Eulan Brooks, 89, of Copperhill, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at Union General Hospital in Blairsville, GA.  Eulan was born August 21, 1933, in Copperhill, TN to Jack and Martha Hendrix Brooks.  Eulan was preceded in death by father, Jack Brooks; mother, Martha Brooks; sister, Ruth Farmer; sister, Lorene Collis; sister, Jewel Bailey; sister, Hazel McCay; brother, Hubert Brooks; brother, Leland Brooks; brother, Cicero Brooks and an infant sibling.  He is survived by his wife of 69 years Ruth Ann Kovsky Brooks; daughter Carol (Todd) Dilbeck; daughter Karen (Randal) Hensley; daughter Kathy (Terry) Pack; grandson Aaron (Dawn) Martin; granddaughter Alanna (Ray) Soldinie; grandson Matt Hensley; great-grandson Logan Martin; great-granddaughter Mia Grace Soldinie; beloved dog, Lola.  He was a member of Coletown Baptist Church and spent many evenings and weekends remodeling the church and adding additional Sunday School classrooms as well as construction of the pastorium.  He retired from Tennessee Chemical Company and the Cochran Funeral Home.  Eulan was a hard worker and loved his family, carpentry, woodworking, gardening, puzzles, Sudoku, whittling, and learning new things.
