Eula Mae Nicholson

Mrs. Eula Mae Nicholson, age 72 of Mineral Bluff, passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2018, with her family by her side. Mrs. Nicholson was born April 19, 1946, in Cherokee County, NC to the late Robert Kernea and the late Georgia Modenia Dye Kernea. A member of Victory Temple Holiness Church, she was preceded in death by her husband, Reid Nicholson. Eula Mae was retired from the Mineral Springs Center. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, cooking, and watching and caring for the birds and her chickens.

Survivors include son, Tim (Becky) Nicholson, son, Dennis (Patty) Nicholson, son, Ricky (Larenda) Nicholson, daughter, Brenda Franklin, son, Don (Stephanie) Nicholson, brothers, Bobby Kernea, Ralph Kernea, and Danny Kernea, sister, Christine Waters, nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services Friday, August 31, 2018, at 3:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Rodney Sulfridge officiating. Music provided by Pam Sulfridge. Interment will follow in the Chastain Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers include Brandon Nicholson, Dustin Nicholson, Austin Ritter, Jacob Franklin, Zackary Nicholson, Noah Nicholson and Blake Nicholson.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home, Thursday, August 30, 2018, from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
