Ms. Eula Mae Hackney, age 90 of Blue Ridge, GA, passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2010. Ms. Hackney was born in Tellico Plains, TN to Sam Calvin Henry and Fannie Ashe Henry on May 24, 1920. A member of 1st Baptist Church of Blue Ridge, she was preceded in death by husband, James Woodrow Hackney & son, Phillip Hackney.
Survivors include: daughter, Camilla "June" Quintrell, son, James "Jim" Hackney, daughter, Elizabeth Lee Gillespie, son, H.L. Hackney, 9 grandchildren & 7 great grandchildren.
Gathering of friends and family will be on Saturday, July 10, 2010 from 12:00 noon to 1:30pm in the Henry Cochran Funeral Home.
Memorial service will be held on July 10, 2010 at 2:00 PM from the First Baptist Church of Blue Ridge with the Rev.Harold Willis officiating. Music will be by Valerie Taylor.
