Eugene Sidney Ragan

Eugene Sidney Ragan, age 83 of Blue Ridge, passed away Saturday, December 2, 2017 at his home. Mr. Ragan was born November 16, 1934 in Harris, NY to the late Robert Ragan and the late Edna Demerest Ragan. He attended the Faith Presbyterian Church in Blue Ridge, and in his spare time he enjoyed reading, camping, and hunting. One of his favorite things to do was visit and spend time with his family and he met his beloved companion, Mary Jane while helping his son-in-law and daughter sell kettle corn. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Mona Ragan, brothers, Robert and Richard Ragan and one sister, Evelyn Knight.

Survivors include: daughter, Shari (Greg) Rubin, son, Brad (Vicky) Ragan, step-daughter, Tammy Keutmann, step-son, Billy (Lesly) Keutmann, step-son, Eric Keutmann, grandchildren, Kayleigh (Jared Doyle) Ragan-Edwards, Cody Rubin, Quinton Rubin, Brooke Ragan, Derrick Ragan, Dylan Ragan, Ryan Ragan, Jordan Keutmann, and Adelina Keutman, also, beloved companion, Mary Jane Weeks.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
