Eugene P. Roig, 85 years old of Blue Ridge, GA, passed away Friday, November 13, 2009 at his residence.
He was born in Monroe, Co., FL, son of Edward J. and Evangelina Carmona Roig.
He was a Navy Chief during World War II, served in the reserves in 1959, later he worked in production & purchasing for the U.S. Foundry & Manufacturing Co. for 12 years.
Surviving are his loving wife, Iris C. Roig, daughter & son in law, Linda "Missy" & Michael Persandi of Acworth, GA., son & daughter in law, Guy & Lynn Roig of Forked River, NJ., son & daughter in law, Thomas & Kathy Knight of Hialeah, Fl.
