Eugene "fluge" Forrester

Mr. Eugene "Fluge" Forrester, age 83, of Copperhill, TN, passed away Friday morning, August 14, 2009 at the Fannin Regional Hospital. Eugene was born in Cherokee Co, NC to Jeff Forrester and Maude Sisson Forrester. He was employed as a painter at Citi Service Company for thirty seven years. A devoted husband, father and grandfather, and he enjoyed fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Lillian Hughes, and Pauline Bone; and brothers, Jeff Forrester, Jr. and James Forrester.

Survivors include: wife of 57 years, Betty Holbrook Forrester; son & daughter-in-law, Donald & Kathy Forrester; daughter & son-in-law, Pam & Larry Foster; sister, Christine Gibbs; brother, J.B. Forrester; grandson, Chris Foster, granddaughter, Heather Dillon, grandson, Micah Foster, step-granddaughter, Heather Austin, step-granddaughter, Millicent Huffman, great-grandson, Zachary Graves, great-granddaughter, Millie Forrester, great-grandson, Brayden Foster, great-granddaughter, Ally Foster, great-grandson, Vince Foster, step-great granddaughter, Chelsey Quintrell, step-great grandson, Luke Austin, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services: Finch-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel Sunday, August 16, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. with the Reverend Bill Pittman, Reverend Reny Whittenbarger and Reverend Denny Hawkins officiating. Music provided by Sherry Walden. Interment will be in the Copper Ridge Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers: Chris Foster, Micah Foster, Zachary Graves, Brian Dillon, Clarke Austin, Max Sisson. Brian Dillon, and Clarke Austin, Honorary pallbearers are: Bill Standridge, Bob Weaver, Charles Beavers, Max Housley, Chuck Foster, Lonnie Oliver, Max Hughes, and Earl Satterfield.

The family will meet with family and friends Saturday evening, August 15, 2009 from 6:00 untial 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
