Estelle Dorothy Hynes

Estelle Dorothy Hynes, age 97 of Blue Ridge, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2016 at Pruitt Health of Blue Ridge. Mrs. Hynes was born March 11, 1919 in Chicago, IL to the late Tomasz Wactawiak and the late Anna Pendziwato Wactawiak. She was one of ten children. She was also a devout Catholic.
Reitred from the American National Bank and Trust Company of Chicago, she also worked until age 85 for the Association for Childhood Development in Lagrange, IL. She came to live on Granny Lake in Cherry Log with her daughter Phyllis and son-in-law, Ron in 2004. She entered Pruitt Health of Blue Ridge three years later.
Survivors include daughters Phyllis (Ron) Vigue of Blue Ridge, Carol (Patrick, deceased) Sanibel Island, FL, two sisters, Alice (Richard) Lyons from Valise California, and Marion Menka of Chicago, IL. Also surviving are three granddaughters, Lisa, Emily, Laurie, and seven great grandchildren, Sam, Sayler, Hayley, Emily, Ryan, Tate and Rylee.
Services will be held at a later date for the immediate family.
