Essie Rhodie Nicholson

Mrs. Essie Rhodie Nicholson, age 90 of Blue Ridge, passed away April 25, 2016 at her home . Mrs. Nicholson was born March 19, 1926 in Pageworth, WV to the late Homer Ware and the late Bertha Flower Ware. She served the Lord, and loved her family, and all she met as a peacemaker and servant of Christ. She was preceded in death by husband, Willie James Nicholson, father, Homer Ware, mother, Bertha Flower Ware, daughter, Bonnie Broadaway, son, Calvin Nicholson, three daughter's-in-law, Joan Elizabeth Nicholson, Marilyn Nicholson, Denise Nicholson, brother's, Bill Ware, Claude Ware, Attle Ware, Lloyd Ware, Jay Ware and one sister, Elsie Ross.

Survivors include: son, Dennis Nicholson, son, Bobby Nicholson, daughter, Linda Anderson, son-in-law, Jim Broadaway, Brother, Allison Ware, sister, Jessie Ruth Ware, grandchildren, Linda Gail Lance of Blue Ridge, Christal Davis (Vincent) of Mineral Bluff, Kevin Nicholson of Blue Ridge, Alicia Stewart (Derek) of Epworth, Georgia, Dana Cole of Blue Ridge, Georgia, Bryan Arp (Bobbi Jane) of Epworth, Georgia, Jessica Hughes (Jayson) of Blue Ridge, Georgia and
17 great grandchildren.

Funeral services: Thursday, April 28, 2016 at 3:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev Tully Greggs and Gene Ware officiating. Interment will follow in Chastain Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Austin Lance, Will Davis, Logan Davis, Jackson Davis, Carder Lance, Vincent Davis and Derek Stewart. Music provided by Derek Stewart and Courtney Davis.
