Mr. Emmitt Roy Wilkins, age 78 of 270 Indigo Lane, Morganton, GA., passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at Chatuge Regional Nursing Home. Mr. Wilkins was born Thursday, July 3, 1930 in Fannin County to the late Levi Columbus Wilkins and the late Mary Walker Wilkins. A member of Toccoa Baptist Church, He was preceded in death by his parents, Levi and Mary Wilkins, sister, Martha Chastain, sister, Minnie Lou Abercrombie, brother, Henry Wilkins, brother, David Wilkins.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 27, 2009 at 1:00PM from the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe Dan Wilkins and Rev. Jimmy Ritter officiating. Music will be provided by Patsy Kincade & Patsy Beavers. Interment will follow in Toccoa Baptist Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are: Clyde Chastain, Glen Wilkins, Marvin Picklesimer, David Brewer, Callie Goddard, Don Irwin.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00-1:00, on Friday, February 27.
