Mrs. Emily June Mack, age 85 of Murphy, NC, passed away Sunday November 21, 2010 at her residence . Mrs. Mack was born in Cherokee Co., NC on June 10, 1925 to the late Mr. Grover Walsh and Mrs. Ada Pipes Walsh. She was a member of the Peachtree Memorial Baptist Church.
Survivors include: daughter, Linda Cole, daughter & son-in-law, Evelyn and Tom Reed, son & daughter-in-law, W. G. and Linda Mack, sister Dorothy and J. D.Yonce, brother Bill Walsh, Family Friend and Caregiver, Jackie Moffitt. 10 Grandchildren, 28 Great-Grandchildren and 8 Great-Great Grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday November 23, 2010 at 2:00PM from the Cochran Funeral Home of Murphy with the Rev. Scott Cole officiating. Internment will follow in the Peachtree Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday November 23, 2010 from noon until service time.
